Senior Business Development Consultant (Europe)

People & Partners Group is a Pan-African HR, Executive Search, Payroll, and Employer of Record (EOR) firm supporting global companies expanding into Africa.

We help international organizations hire, pay, and manage talent compliantly across multiple African markets—without setting up local entities. Our work spans professional services, FMCG, NGOs and development partners, technology, and Africa-focused growth initiatives.

As European demand accelerates, we are appointing a Senior Business Development Consultant (Europe) to drive new client acquisition and long-term partnerships.

The Role

This is a consultative, outcome-driven business development role, not a volume sales position.

You will:

  • Originate and close European clients operating or hiring across Africa
  • Sell integrated workforce solutions including EOR, Executive Search, Recruitment, Payroll, HR Compliance, Corporate Training
  • Lead discovery and solution-design conversations with HR Directors, CFOs, COOs, and Founders
  • Structure multi-service, recurring engagements rather than one-off projects
  • Build and own long-term client relationships

EOR is a key growth driver, but this role sells the full People & Partners service platform.

Who This Role Is For

This role suits commercially driven professionals with 3+ years of B2B business development or consulting experience, ideally within professional services, HR, outsourcing, payroll, or advisory environments.

You should be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience selling to senior decision-makers (HR, Finance, Operations, Founders)
  • Comfort running discovery-led, consultative sales conversations
  • Exposure to complex or multi-stakeholder deals
  • Familiarity with Africa or emerging markets (strong advantage)

This role is performance-led and best suited to individuals who can demonstrate closed deals, not just pipeline activity.

Compensation & Upside (Transparent)

This is a performance-based consulting role designed for professionals who value earning leverage.

  • Monthly retainer: USD 500 (flexible for exceptional profiles)
  • Uncapped commission on all closed deals, including recurring revenue
  • Commission accelerators for consistent performance

Indicative earning potential:

  • Typical client contracts: USD 15k–60k+ annually
  • Closing 1–2 mid-sized clients per month can generate USD 3k–6k+ in monthly commissions, excluding retainer

Results, not tenure, determine earnings.
