We are looking for a reliable and detail‑focused Staff Accommodation Cleaning Operative to help maintain our team accommodation to a consistently high standard. This role is about more than cleaning — it’s about creating a comfortable, welcoming environment where our team can relax and feel at home. This is a permanent, part‑time (8 hour) contract, working two days per week.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Clean and maintain shared kitchens, bathrooms, toilets, and shower facilities.
  • Keep corridors, stairways, and communal areas clean and presentable.
  • Support with bedroom changeover cleaning when required.
  • Empty bins and manage waste and recycling appropriately.
  • Monitor cleaning stock levels and report when supplies need replenishing.
  • Identify and report maintenance issues promptly.
  • Follow cleaning schedules to maintain excellent accommodation standards.
  • Ensure all accommodation areas remain safe, hygienic, and welcoming for staff.

Qualifications:

  • Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to take a hands‑on approach.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
