People 4 Property are recruiting an experienced Lettings Portfolio Manager / Tenancy Manager to join the in-house Lettings and Property Management team of one of London's most prestigious property estates.

This is a rare client-side opportunity to manage the tenancy administration of an exceptional portfolio of prime residential properties, working with high-net-worth tenants and some of London's leading estate agents.

Importantly, this is not a commission-based position . You'll receive a salary of £50,000–£55,000 plus an exceptional company benefits package.

The Opportunity You'll be responsible for the tenancy management and lease administration of approximately 300 residential properties, working alongside the appointed Property Manager.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Tenancy Manager, Lettings Administrator or Lettings Portfolio Manager with excellent knowledge of residential tenancy legislation who would like to move into a prestigious, professional client-side environment.

  • Your Responsibilities As Lettings Portfolio Manager, your role will include:
  • Managing the administration of approximately 300 residential leases
  • Progressing new lettings from offer acceptance through to tenancy commencement
  • Preparing and drafting tenancy agreements
  • Ensuring all required pre-tenancy checks and documentation are completed
  • Checking relevant EPC, gas, electrical and fire safety certification
  • Liaising with letting agents regarding tenant referencing and tenancy matters
  • Managing tenancy renewals across your portfolio
  • Reviewing and assisting with rent reviews
  • Registering tenancy deposits and managing deposit releases
  • Instructing inventory check-ins and check-outs
  • Appointing agents to provide valuations on refreshed and refurbished properties
  • Instructing agents to market available properties
  • Liaising with internal teams, external agents and high-net-worth tenants
  • Maintaining accurate tenancy and property records

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone with strong residential lettings and tenancy administration experience rather than a traditional maintenance-focused Property Manager.

You'll ideally have

  • Previous experience within tenancy management, lettings administration or residential portfolio management
  • Excellent knowledge of the residential lettings process
  • A good understanding of current tenancy legislation and compliance
  • Experience preparing tenancy agreements and progressing new tenancies
  • Experience managing renewals and tenancy deposits
  • ARLA Propertymark qualification or equivalent is highly desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong numerical and administrative skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience using property management or lettings software
  • A highly organised and professional approach
  • Confidence communicating with high-net-worth tenants and professional stakeholders
  • You should also be within a reasonable commute of the

Central London office and be available to attend occasional charitable and community events when required.

Salary

£50,000 – £55,000 depending on experience

Hours

Monday to Friday, 9.30am – 5.30pm

Hybrid working

One day per week working from home following successful completion of probation
