Assistant Sales Manager to join a highly regarded independent estate agency in Cobham.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Sales Negotiator who is ready to take the next step in their career.

Working closely with the Sales Director, you will combine hands-on residential sales with team support and operational responsibility, acting as a senior presence within the business while continuing to earn strong personal commission.

If you are already performing at Senior Negotiator level and feel ready for more responsibility, this could be the ideal move.

The Role Based predominantly in Cobham, you will work alongside the Sales Director and wider sales team, helping to drive performance, maintain high standards and deliver an exceptional service to buyers and sellers.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Managing buyers and sellers from initial enquiry through to completion
  • Conducting viewings and negotiating offers
  • Progressing agreed sales and maintaining regular communication with clients
  • Attending valuations when required
  • Supporting the Sales Director with the day-to-day running of the sales operation
  • Mentoring and supporting negotiators within the team
  • Helping to maintain high standards around applicant management, viewings and follow-up
  • Reviewing pipelines, available stock and pricing/marketing strategies
  • Contributing to morning meetings, training and performance discussions
  • Supporting the Sales Director across the wider business when required
  • Occasionally working across the company'soffices

This isn't a role that takes you away from selling.

You'll remain actively involved with clients and transactions while gradually taking on greater management and leadership responsibility.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone with a successful background in residential estate agency who is ready to progress their career.

  • Proven experience as a
  • Senior Sales Negotiator / Senior Estate Agent
  • A strong track record of achieving sales targets
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills
  • Confidence dealing with buyers, sellers and colleagues
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A professional, calm and organised approach
  • Commercial awareness and the confidence to make decisions
  • A genuine interest in developing into management
  • Full UK driving licence and your own car

Previous management experience isn't essential – this role could suit an established Senior Negotiator looking for their first genuine step into estate agency management.

Salary & Commission Basic salary: £28,000 – £30,000 depending on experience

In addition, you will receive

  • Personal sales commission
  • Office commission linked to branch performance
  • Discretionary half-yearly bonus based on contribution and operational support

OTE circa £60,000 in year one, with the potential to exceed £65,000 in a strong market.

9-Day Fortnight & Benefits
