What\\\'s the mission for this role?

As a key member of the global Sports Marketing team within the Brand Marketing function, you will lead the development and execution of Speedo\\\'s athlete strategy across the entire EMEA region. You will also support your closest teammate (a secondary EMEA Sports Marketing Manager) on the federation and club strategies across EMEA, ensuring alignment with global brand objectives and delivering best-in-class portfolio management, partnership activation, and campaign support.

This role is pivotal in maintaining Speedo\\\'s leadership in competitive swimming while identifying innovative ways to engage athletes and consumers across both performance and fitness markets. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver impactful, consumer-centric initiatives that elevate the brand and drive measurable results.

What does this role do?

As our EMEA Sports Marketing Manager(Speedo), you will be responsible for:

  • Athletes (Lead Responsibility)
    • Own and drive the athlete strategy across EMEA.
    • Build strong relationships with key athletes and ambassadors, integrating them into the Speedo family and brand programs.
    • Develop individual athlete goals and activation plans aligned with brand strategy.
    • Support athletes in creating innovative projects that enhance brand visibility and consumer engagement.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for all EMEA athlete partnerships - including rising stars and emerging talent spotting
  • Federations (Supporting Responsibility)
    • Support the development and execution of federation partnerships across EMEA - particularly Aquatics GB and German Swimming Federation (DSV).
    • Align mutual objectives and optimize programs and activations to generate value.
    • Assist in identifying new opportunities with federations to enhance Speedo\\\'s presence and impact, across brand and commercial goals.
  • Clubs (Shared Responsibility)
    • Collaborate with the Global Head of Marketing - Competitive and the secondary EMEA Sports Marketing Manager to shape a new approach to working with swim clubs across EMEA, delivering against brand and commercial objectives.
    • Support club engagement strategies in partnership with commercial and teamwear teams.
  • General Responsibilities
    • Work cross-functionally with Brand Management, Product, Innovation and Commercial teams to activate partnerships in innovative and disruptive ways.
    • Support product seeding, campaign integration, and competitive product familiarization.
    • Ensure delivery of sports marketing initiatives aligns with business needs and commercial goals.
    • Leverage relationships through PR, experiential, digital, social, event, and retail activities.
    • Collaborate on contractual obligations and event management to maximize Speedo\\\'s exposure.
    • Provide OTG support at major championships and events across EMEA.
    • Contribute to the Commonwealth Games 2026 and LA28 Olympic strategy in collaboration with global brand leads.
