Location: We have a position at each of our branches, Leith branch at 41 St Clair Street, Edinburgh, EH6 8LB and Loanhead branch at 18/2a Dryden Road, Loanhead, EH20 9LZ
Salary: £12.80 per hour with a yearly salary of £27,456 excluding overtime
Contract & Hours: Full time, Permanent – Monday – Friday 8.00am – 5.00pm. Saturday (one-two a month) 08.00am – 12.30pm

Pentland Component Parts Ltd is a specialist in vehicle parts distribution and has a vacancy in the position of Delivery Driver. The company is looking for a friendly and outgoing individual, ideally with previous delivery driving experience, to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, your duties will primarily be delivering goods to customers and between branches. Your main branch will be as listed above, but you may be required to fill in at other branches occasionally to cover holidays etc.
Reporting to your Line Manager at the branch you are based, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Delivering car parts and other goods to garages, workshops and vehicle dealers.
- Picking customer’s orders.
- Collecting returned goods from customers.
- Collecting payments from customers.
- Shipping inter-branch stocks between our locations.
Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a driving license (preferably clean) with delivery driving experience and will:
- Have a good working knowledge of the local geographical area.
- Be a confident, responsible driver.
- Be customer-focused.
- Be dynamic, outgoing and energetic.
- Be organised with great attention to detail.
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Be a team player, also able to work independently.
- Be able to lift heavy items without frequent assistance.
- Show willingness to learn and develop.
