The Senior Apparel Designer Mission
As the Senior Apparel Designer at Endura, you will lead the design direction and development of our core and seasonal apparel lines, alongside capsule exploration. This role calls for a designer who combines deep technical expertise with an elevated sense of style—someone capable of shaping performance‑driven products that also carry strong visual identity. You’ll champion design quality and innovation across materials, fit, and finish, translating Endura’s performance ethos into collections that feel authentic, modern, and aspirational for riders worldwide.
How you'll drive success
- Leading the evolution of core lines and the creation of innovative design capsules, ensuring each concept expresses Endura’s performance DNA while introducing new energy, relevance, and material innovation.
- Translating performance requirements into elevated, functional designs that deliver real gains in motion.
- Demonstrating mastery across materials, trim, and finishing details.
- Develops narrative‑driven colour stories informed by trend, athlete insight and culture, and applies them thoughtfully across styles and collections.
- Driving material innovation and performance improvements across seasons through bold design direction, thoughtful fabric selection and clear briefs.
- Creating and maintaining detailed tech packs, technical sketches, construction methods and BOM accuracy.
- Leading design in fit sessions with cross‑functional teams, providing expert guidance on design corrections, fit intent, construction improvements, and product optimisation.
- Reviewing prototypes and samples at all stages, ensuring alignment to design intent, performance goals, and commercial requirements.
- Collaborating closely with Design peers, Product Development, and Sourcing teams to ensure technical feasibility, cost effectiveness, and manufacturing accuracy.
What you'll need to thrive
- Significant experience (6+ years) in apparel design, ideally performance, sport, outdoor or activewear, with expert understanding of construction, fit and manufacturing methods.
- Possesses a sharp editorial eye for proportion, silhouette, and detail, pairing technical credibility with undeniable style.
- Strong technical communication skills, with the ability to translate creative ideas into precise, actionable specifications.
- Proficiency in digital design tools and PLM systems; experience with 3D design is a strong advantage.
- A collaborative mindset, capable of influencing cross‑functional teams and vendors in a fast‑paced creation environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail, a commitment to product quality and consistency, and the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines while balancing strategic oversight with hands‑on execution.
- Leads by example, mentoring junior designers and sharing craft knowledge and feedback, while championing innovation and best‑in‑class product experiences for riders.
- Industry experience supported by a degree in Fashion/Apparel or Product Design (ideally with a focus on performance or sportswear).
- Alignment with Pentland principles: consumer‑first thinking, ownership, boldness, honesty, and doing the right thing.
