The Junior Digital Merchandise Planner Mission:

Assist the Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) business by supporting demand planning and inventory management across the EMEA/North America region. This role is essential for optimising product availability, managing stock levels, and aligning inventory with sales forecasts to ensure consumer demand is met and profitability is maximised.

How you’ll drive success:

  • Demand Planning and Forecasting: Assist in the development of sales forecasts for the D2C business, using historical data, market insights, and promotional calendars. Support cross-functional teams to ensure forecasts align with business objectives and assist with adjustments based on real-time performance.
  • Inventory Management Support: Help monitor inventory levels globally to ensure product availability while minimising overstock and markdown risks. Track stock levels to ensure they align with sales targets and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Sales and Promotions Coordination: Provide support to sales and marketing teams when planning for promotional events, product launches, and seasonal campaigns. Adjust inventory allocations and forecasts to align with peak sales periods and promotions.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting Assistance: Gather and analyse inventory metrics, such as stock turn, sell-through rates, and forecast accuracy, to support ongoing improvements. Maintain reports to track performance, identify trends, and provide insights for the D2C and planning teams.
  • Relationship with Stakeholders and Replenishment Coordination: Support relationship-building with key stakeholders across D2C, supply chain, and product teams to ensure alignment on planning and inventory strategies. Engage with supply chain teams and manage replenishment schedules, coordinating stock transfers to meet D2C demand.

What you’ll need to thrive:

  • Experience in demand planning, inventory management, or a similar administrative role, ideally in a D2C, retail, or e-commerce setting.
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills, with experience in data analysis and advanced Excel skills.
  • Basic understanding of inventory management principles such as stock turn, safety stock, and sell-through optimisation.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • A proactive, adaptable approach, capable of assisting with multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proficiency in maintaining optimal stock levels, minimising overstock or stockouts.
