The Graphics / Print Designer creates graphic, print and branding applications that strengthen Canterbury's product identity across relevant ranges.
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop seasonal graphics, print concepts, branding executions and trim ideas for Canterbury product.
- Translate brand direction, consumer insight and product stories into strong visual design solutions.
- Create artwork, technical files, specifications and PLM information for production handover.
- Partner with apparel designers, product managers and development teams to integrate graphics into product ranges.
- Work with suppliers to resolve technical execution, colour, print and application challenges.
- Support colour, material and graphic storytelling in seasonal presentations and range reviews.
- Maintain organised artwork libraries and ensure naming, version control and documentation are accurate.
- Stay close to graphic, print, sport and visual culture trends that can inform product design.
- Maintain design documentation, colour, material and graphic handovers so Development and Sourcing can progress work accurately and on time.
- Use prototype reviews, fit sessions and sample feedback to refine product detail while protecting the intended design handwriting.
- Develop placement graphics, repeat prints, branding executions and artwork that support seasonal product stories.
- Create accurate artwork files, scale references, colour information and supplier-ready technical details.
- Partner with Design and Development to ensure graphic applications are feasible, durable and cost-aware.
- Maintain organised artwork libraries, approvals and design documentation across the season.
What you’ll bring:
- Graphic, print, apparel or product design experience, ideally within sport, apparel or performance product.
- Strong portfolio showing placement graphics, repeat prints, branding systems and technical artwork.
- Excellent Adobe Creative Suite skills; PLM and CLO3D experience are beneficial.
- Good understanding of print methods, trims, branding applications and product execution.
- Ability to create work that balances creativity, brand identity, cost and manufacturability.
- Strong attention to detail and confidence preparing production-ready files.
- Collaborative style and ability to work with designers, developers, suppliers and brand teams.
- Strong craft, taste level and technical curiosity, with the ability to turn brand DNA and trend insight into practical product solutions.
