WHAT'S THE MISSION FOR THIS ROLE?
As a Colour Designer, you will shape the visual identity of our products through thoughtful, onâtrend colour palettes. You will work closely with design, product development, and marketing teams to ensure colour choices are innovative, commercially viable, and aligned with brand DNA.
WHAT DOES THIS ROLE DO?
- Create seasonal colour palettes, mood boards, and colourways for our products.
- Monitor global colour trends and competitor activity to inform design decisions.
- Ensure colour consistency across fabrics, trims, and product ranges.
- Work closely with Designers and Materials team to translate concepts into productionâready colourways.
- Partner with suppliers to manage colour approvals, lab dips, and prototypes.
- Support Marketing and Merchandising with colour storytelling and product imagery.
Sustainability & Quality
- Incorporate environmentally responsible dyeing and finishing processes where possible.
- Ensure colour durability and performance across multiple washes, materials, and finishes.
Business & Team Contribution
- Contribute to a culture of innovation, creativity, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with crossâfunctional teams to align colour strategy with product goals and business needs.
WHAT DO I BRING TO THE ROLE?
You just might be our next superstar if you have the following skills and experience:
- You have a degree in relevant design fields: Fashion, Textiles, Sport, Industrial and Graphic Design, or equivalent experience, and have a minimum of 3â5 years experience in a professional environment in colour design, trend forecasting, or textile design, preferably working in performance apparel and equipment.
- Strong knowledge of colour theory, fabric behaviour, and finishing techniques.
- Proficiency in all Adobe CC; knowledge of Clo3D or similar; PLM experience is a plus.
- Proven ability to translate trends into commercially successful colour palettes.
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
- Detailâoriented, proactive, and adaptable, with a keen eye for quality and consistency.
- Passion for sustainability and innovative design solutions.
