Location: London, Farringdon

Hours: 36.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (4.30pm finish on a Friday)

The Head of Global Go To Market (GTM) (Speedo) leads the strategic planning, alignment, and execution of Speedo’s global go to market process. Sitting at the nexus of Global Marketing, Regional Marketing, Product, and Commercial, the role is responsible for delivering a world class GTM engine that drives brand consistency, market readiness, and commercial growth worldwide. At the heart of the role is a commitment to understanding the needs, motivations, and behaviours of swimmers globally, ensuring that Speedo’s GTM strategies not only reflect consumer insight but create powerful, relevant connections with our audiences.

How you’ll drive success:

  • Global Go To Market Leadership: Own the full GTM calendar, ensuring global alignment, timely decision making, and seamless coordination across functions. Drive a globally consistent GTM framework that ensures clarity from innovation planning through to launch execution. Oversee the creation and distribution of seasonal GTM toolkits and playbooks used by all markets.
  • Seasonal Storytelling & Commercial Readiness: Partner with Brand Marketing, Product, and Insights teams to translate strategy, innovation, and consumer opportunities into compelling seasonal narratives. Ensure product stories, category priorities, and brand direction come together in a cohesive, commercially resonant sell in story. Champion a “global” approach, ensuring global brand strategies are adapted while enabling market flexibility where needed.
  • Asset Development & Deployment: Oversee the briefing, creation, and global rollout of all seasonal sell in and GTM assets, including: Sell in decks, Product narratives, Marketing plans, Showroom materials, GTM calendars and key dates. Ensure all assets meet global brand standards and deliver consistent messaging.
  • Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement: Continuously evolve the global GTM process to improve speed, clarity, and impact. Implement tools, templates, and workflows that streamline cross functional collaboration. Collect and synthesise market feedback following each seasonal cycle and embed learnings into future GTM planning. Establish clear KPIs for GTM effectiveness and market readiness.
  • Leadership & Stakeholder Influence: Build strong relationships with senior leaders across the organisation to influence decisions that shape seasonal planning and commercial success. Confidently present seasonal strategies, GTM frameworks, and brand narratives to executive and leadership teams, as well as key external partners.

What you’ll need to thrive:

  • Extensive experience leading complex, multi market GTM processes for a global consumer brand-ideally in sports, apparel, performance, lifestyle, or retail.
  • Proven ability to build, refine, and scale GTM frameworks that align markets across different maturity levels, cultural expectations, and commercial realities.
  • Demonstrated success managing long range planning cycles and seasonal calendars, ensuring cross functional clarity from early innovation planning to in market execution.
  • Deep understanding of global brand marketing with the ability to translate brand strategy and positioning into sell in stories that are emotionally compelling and commercially resonant.
  • Experience shaping seasonal narratives that connect product, brand moments, athletes/ambassadors, and innovation into a unified global storyline.
  • High visual and creative judgement-able to assess whether assets, decks, plans, and experiences are “brand right” and consistent with a global identity system.
  • Skilled at building “global” frameworks that protect brand consistency while enabling market level flexibility and ownership.
  • Strong collaborator capable of navigating a matrixed global organisation with diplomacy, resilience, and clarity.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate at both the high level strategic view (multi year frameworks, consumer opportunity mapping, seasonal positioning) and the operational detail (toolkit quality, deadlines, asset accuracy, executional guidance).
  • Comfortable switching between shaping long term GTM evolution and troubleshooting short term seasonal issues.
  • A natural connector who thrives in cross functional environments. Globally minded, culturally aware, and energised by working with diverse markets.
