This role combines artistic creativity with commercial awareness and technical precision, ensuring that every graphic—from placement prints to full all-over patterns—feels modern, consumer-relevant, and distinctly brand-right.
The mission is to translate consumer insights, cultural trends, and brand DNA into graphic concepts that resonate emotionally, differentiate our products, and enhance the overall storytelling of seasonal collections.
How you'll drive success
- Designing seasonal graphic and print concepts across apparel and accessories, including placement graphics, trims, labels, and all-over prints.
- Creating original artwork through illustration, typography, pattern-making, and digital design processes.
- Translating brand direction and cultural insights into graphic stories that strengthen seasonal narratives and product identity.
- Building cohesive graphic packs for categories, ensuring consistency in style, colour, and messaging.
- Preparing accurate production-ready artwork, including colour separations, repeats, and technical callouts.
- Collaborating closely with Apparel Designers, Product Management, and Materials teams to align graphic design with garment design, fit, and construction.
- Working with Development and supply chain partners to ensure graphic execution meets quality, sustainability, and technical standards.
- Supporting the creation of seasonal trend boards, colour palettes, and visual inspiration tools.
- Maintaining accurate and organised artwork files, style numbers, and graphic details in PLM and asset libraries.
- Presenting graphic concepts and stories to internal teams, communicating rationale, inspiration, and application.
What you'll need to thrive
- 4-7 years’ experience designing graphics or prints for apparel, accessories, lifestyle, or related creative fields.
- Strong portfolio showcasing illustration, typography, colour usage, pattern design, and storytelling through graphics.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other relevant design tools; experience with repeat creation and separations is a plus.
- Solid understanding of apparel construction, print techniques, embellishments, and surface decoration methods.
- Ability to interpret trend, culture, and consumer insights into fresh, commercially relevant design solutions.
- Strong eye for detail and composition, with the ability to maintain consistency and quality across a range.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners.
- Organised, adaptable, and able to manage multiple projects and timelines in a fast-paced, creative environment.
- Passion for graphic design, visual culture, and creating work that shapes brand identity and consumer connection.
- Alignment with Pentland principles: consumer-first thinking, ownership, boldness, honesty, and doing the right thing.
