The Apparel Designer - Everyday & Icons plays a key role in creating versatile, stylish, and functional apparel designed for everyday comfort and modern lifestyles. Working within the Product Creation team, this role brings consumer insights, trend awareness, and strong design execution together to deliver products that feel contemporary, relevant, and aligned with the brand’s aesthetic. The mission is to translate trend, consumer needs, and brand identity into commercially successful collections that balance creativity, practicality, and global appeal.
As our Apparel Designer - Everyday & Icons you will be responsible for:
- Designing seasonal Everyday Apparel collections that align with brand direction, consumer insights, and commercial needs.
- Creating clear, detailed design concepts including sketches, CADs, colour stories, and material selections.
- Collaborating closely with Product Management and Consumer Insights to ensure designs meet market needs and reflect evolving lifestyle trends.
- Collaborating with Rapid Prototyping Centre to create physical concepts for trialing design details and full silhouettes before designs are put into work.
- Working with Product Development to ensure all designs are feasible, manufacturable, and aligned with cost, fit, and quality requirements.
- Participating in fittings and sample reviews, refining designs to ensure alignment with the intended aesthetic, comfort, and construction standards.
- Contributing to the creation of line architecture and range building, ensuring a balanced, cohesive, and brand‑right product offer.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date design data in PLM, including CADs, specs, and material details.
- Supporting storytelling and design presentations for internal teams, articulating design rationale and consumer insights behind the collection.
You just might be our next superstar if you have the following skills and experience:
- Experience designing lifestyle, casual, or everyday apparel across men’s, women’s, or unisex categories.
- You have a degree in relevant design fields: Fashion, Sport, Industrial and Graphic Design, or equivalent experience, and have a minimum of 2‑3 years experience in a professional environment.
- Strong ability to translate trends and consumer insights into commercially viable design concepts.
- Proficiency in all Adobe CC; knowledge of Clo3D or similar; PLM experience is a plus.
- Solid understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and manufacturing processes.
- Strong drawing, CAD, and visual communication skills with attention to detail and consistency.
- Ability to balance creativity with commercial awareness—designing products that look great, feel great, and resonate with everyday consumers.
- Are passionate about sustainability and have experience implementing environmentally responsible material strategies.
- Collaborative working style with the ability to partner effectively across design, product, development, and marketing teams.
- Passion for modern lifestyle design, consumer culture, and creating apparel that enhances everyday life.
