We’re Pentland Brands: a global family business behind some of the world’s most iconic active and lifestyle brands. We bring integrity, energy and ambition to our work, setting high standards and striving to deliver great outcomes without ego. Shape the work behind some of the world’s most loved sport, outdoor and lifestyle brands. At Pentland Brands, every role helps move our brands forward. Whether you’re supporting our people, improving our systems, growing our commercial performance, strengthening operations or shaping better ways of working, your impact reaches across a portfolio of iconic brands used by consumers around the world.
In this role, you will support insight delivery for seven brands across multiple international markets. Your work will help the wider business better understand how consumers behave, what they’re buying where, and how well our brands are meeting their needs. You will work closely with internal teams and external agency partners (as well as with tools such as Bulbshare, Kantar, Euromonitor, YouGov, and Circana), helping to deliver actionable insights, build a culture of self-service through training and enablement, and support the delivery of insight projects through primary and secondary research.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about data-driven storytelling and consumer behaviour to build their career in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Insight Delivery: Support the delivery of regular consumer and market insight projects to internal teams across marketing, product/design, commercial, innovation and leadership functions. Help synthesise findings from third-party tools and proprietary research into clear, actionable outputs in PowerPoint and Excel. Deliver insight outputs on time according to the agreed team calendar, working closely with your manager and wider Insight Team.
- Research and Analysis: Assist with ad hoc consumer and market research projects, including survey analysis, qualitative interviews, desk research, and competitive benchmarking. Analyse data from platforms such as Kantar, Euromonitor, YouGov, and Circana to track consumer trends, brand health, and market opportunities. Assess the impact of marketing initiatives or product modifications on consumer behaviour, sales performance, and overall engagement.
- Data and Agency Collaboration: Work collaboratively with external insight agencies and research partners to support key projects, including survey management, data pulls, and reporting. Ensure third-party insights are efficiently integrated into internal reporting and decision-making processes.
- Stakeholder Support and Self-Service Enablement: Help promote a self-service insights culture by delivering training sessions and building easy-to-use resources and engaging communications for business users. Act as a first line of support for internal teams, answering questions and guiding colleagues to relevant tools and data sources where possible.
- Team and Process Support: Help maintain accurate records of ongoing insight projects, calendars, and deliverables. Support the continuous improvement of insight processes, templates, and reporting standards.
What you’ll bring:
- A deep interest in understanding what makes people tick, and uncovering consumer behaviours and attitudes through data analysis and storytelling.
- Strong analytical skills: highly numerate with an ability to interpret and synthesise large datasets into simple, actionable insights.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisation, with a proactive approach to project management.
- Comfortable using Excel, PowerPoint, and eager to learn new tools and platforms (e.g., Bulbshare, Kantar, YouGov, Circana).
- A strong communicator with excellent written skills — able to explain results from analysis simply to non-technical audiences.
- Collaborative mindset, keen to work across teams and cultures.
- Curious, proactive, and solutions-oriented — excited to get hands-on experience in a global business environment.
