About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Fabric Buyer to join our Fabric Buying Team. This is a great opportunity for an individual who is looking to develop their career in fabric buying and join a dynamic team working with a variety of high street clients.

Job Type

Full Time, Permanent (40 hours, 5 days per week)

Main Responsibilities

• PO Management
• Liaising daily with mills
• Updating and managing the Bulk Fabric Critical Path
• Ensuring bulk fabric is to spec and ships on time
• Working together with the Fabric Technologist to ensure fabric performance meets required standards
• Working closely with Production, Logistics and Sales
• Coach and develop junior members of the team

Person Specification

• Experience of working with fabrics or fashion related industry
• Excellent written and verbal communication with all levels
• Proficient systems knowledge, preferably with any ERP experience
• Attention to detail, organisation and co‑ordination skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
• Proactive and uses initiative to problem solve
