Overview
The position is on-site in Tewkesbury, United Kingdom. Candidates will work with advanced digital security technologies across government and defence markets.
Base Pay: £28,000 – £34,000 DOE
Responsibilities:
- Assemble, test, and repair electronic and mechanical products to defined standards.
- Maintain accurate build and test records.
- Provide regular progress updates to the Production Manager.
- Assist in quality inspections, investigations, and process improvements.
- Troubleshoot issues and support root‑cause analysis activities.
- Develop and maintain Production Work Instructions (WIs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Support the transition of new products from Engineering to Production.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Support teams to resolve production incidents.
- Train operators on updated assembly and test processes.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and security requirements.
Qualifications & Eligibility:
- Relevant experience in a production or electronics assembly environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and structured problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency with Windows‑based applications.
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and printed circuit assembly (PCA) schematics.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality and security.
- Self‑motivated with good time management and ownership of deliverables.
- Team player able to work independently or collaboratively.
Desirable:
- Experience reworking PCAs to IPC‑610/J‑STD‑001 standards.
- Component‑level fault finding.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.

British citizen or eligible for UK National Security Vetting (NSV) – DV level clearance.
