Overview

The position is on-site in Tewkesbury, United Kingdom. Candidates will work with advanced digital security technologies across government and defence markets.

Base Pay: £28,000 – £34,000 DOE

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, test, and repair electronic and mechanical products to defined standards.
  • Maintain accurate build and test records.
  • Provide regular progress updates to the Production Manager.
  • Assist in quality inspections, investigations, and process improvements.
  • Troubleshoot issues and support root‑cause analysis activities.
  • Develop and maintain Production Work Instructions (WIs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Support the transition of new products from Engineering to Production.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Support teams to resolve production incidents.
  • Train operators on updated assembly and test processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and security requirements.

Qualifications & Eligibility:

  • Relevant experience in a production or electronics assembly environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and structured problem‑solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Windows‑based applications.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and printed circuit assembly (PCA) schematics.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality and security.
  • Self‑motivated with good time management and ownership of deliverables.
  • Team player able to work independently or collaboratively.

Desirable:

  • Experience reworking PCAs to IPC‑610/J‑STD‑001 standards.
  • Component‑level fault finding.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with Linux operating systems.
  • Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.

British citizen or eligible for UK National Security Vetting (NSV) – DV level clearance.
