Job Description
Summary:
Purpose – ensure our regional sales team has sufficient technical skills and knowledge to effectively sell the Value of our products and to ensure clinical customers maximise the Value and develop a preference for our technology
Objectives – Using an educational tool set, you will ensure the knowledge of our products and their clinical application is maximised both internally & externally in order to retain & grow business
Accountable for –Staff technical skills, IFU compliance, customer clinical application excellence
Key stakeholders – own KOL, educators, SSD, nursing – network other stakeholders, especially clinical.
Main Responsibilities/Main Tasks:
- Responsible for organizing projects, presentations, training or activities which support sales objectives.
- Responsible for the delivery of product and applications training to colleagues and customers through coaching, education and training activities.
- Deliver product support to the sales unit in demonstrating, installing and commissioning of products.
- Educate and train customers and staff in best practice clinical use of PENTAX products.
- Monitor competitors for activity as well as positioning strategies and feedback into the business.
- Review product performance against user requirements and feedback into the business.
- Represent PENTAX at regional and national conferences, exhibitions, seminars, workshops to maintain market knowledge and gather market intelligence.
- Identify and develop relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in order to influence and develop Pentax Medical brand preference and grow market share.
- Responsible for planning, organising and delivering Regional and National Educational Study Days and Clinical workshops to PENTAX customers.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business or related field preferred.
- Should have prior experience as Applications Specialist, or a Product Sales Specialist in medical devices company or recent experience of working in a clinical department.
- Self motivated and able to work independently with a focus on achieving business objectives.
- Communication skills for regular information transfer and cross-functional teamwork.
- Flexibility regarding extensive travel up to 80% of role.
- English language skills on professional level.
- Possess IT skills including Microsoft Office to basic level.
- Full, clean driving licence.
