We are currently recruiting for an experienced Business Manager to join a busy and fast-paced project environment, providing high-level operational and administrative support to a senior leadership team and wider project organisation.
This is a varied, hands-on position that would suit someone who is highly organised, proactive, confident with technology and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
You will play a key role in keeping the day-to-day operation running smoothly, coordinating across different teams and stakeholders, managing business processes, and ensuring actions and deliverables are progressed effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality day-to-day operational and administrative support to the senior leadership team.
- Proactively manage priorities, actions, meetings and wider business requirements.
- Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and act as a trusted point of contact.
- Work across multiple internal IT, workflow and ticketing systems, raising and tracking requests through to completion.
- Coordinate the onboarding of new suppliers, working with procurement, finance and supply-chain teams.
- Raise, track and maintain Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs), ensuring approvals and records are kept up to date.
- Plan and coordinate leadership workshops, including venues, scheduling, agendas, logistics, materials and follow-up actions.
- Coordinate the weekly project reporting process, gathering updates from project teams and ensuring information is accurate and submitted on time.
- Organise weekly leadership and wider team meetings, including agendas, attendance, supporting materials, actions and follow-ups.
- Maintain trackers, documentation, action logs and other governance records.
- Follow up with stakeholders and project teams to ensure agreed actions and deliverables are completed on time. Skills & Experience We are looking for someone who is:
- Highly IT proficient and confident learning and working across multiple internal systems and software platforms.
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple activities, deadlines and competing priorities.
- A strong communicator with excellent stakeholder-management and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive, resourceful and comfortable taking ownership of tasks.
- Confident communicating with and following up with senior stakeholders.
- Experienced in meeting coordination, reporting, document management and general business administration.
- Familiar with procurement, supplier onboarding and PR/PO processes, or similar corporate purchasing workflows.
- Detail-oriented, dependable and comfortable handling confidential or sensitive information.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with a wider team.
