We are currently looking for an experienced Lift Engineer to join our team, working across railway infrastructure and station environments throughout London.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified lift engineer with strong hands-on experience who is looking to work on critical railway assets and be part of major infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out installation, maintenance, servicing, fault finding and repair of lifts within railway environments.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults on a range of lift systems.
- Complete planned and reactive maintenance in accordance with relevant standards and procedures.
- Carry out inspections, testing and preventative maintenance.
- Respond to breakdowns and minimise equipment downtime.
- Work safely within live railway/station environments, following all relevant rail safety procedures.
- Complete accurate maintenance reports, service records and documentation.
- Liaise with site teams, project managers, clients and other engineering disciplines.
- Support installation, testing and commissioning of new and upgraded lift systems where required.
- Ensure all work is completed to the required quality, safety and compliance standards.
- NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering / Lift & Escalator Engineering or equivalent.
- Proven experience working as a Lift Engineer.
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
- Experience with lift maintenance, repair and servicing.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to work across London railway/station locations.
- Strong understanding of health & safety requirements.
