ASSEMBLY and FABRICATION OPERATIVES Location: Kendal, Cumbria, England Monday – Thursday: 8.5 hrs/day Friday: 5 hrs/day £12/hour + Paid overtime, PPE, Training Our client is a global leader in electrical engineering and manufacturing and is looking for 20 operatives to start in January. SPECIFIC DUTIES * Manual handling of Aluminum housings and Copper and Aluminum busbars of varying mass; * Preparation of assembly materials (Use of Stanley knives / scissors); * Light hand machining (Use of grinders / finishing papers); * Masking of housings and busbars prior to powder coating; * Use of hand tools i.e. De-burring tools, spanners, sockets, screwdrivers, rivet guns & inserting machines; * Assembly of busbar trunking to exacting standards; * Packaging product for dispatch. GENERIC DUTIES * The employee will carry out any other administration tasks as necessary or as requested by the Heads of Department. * At all times and in all respects conform to and comply with the proper and reasonable directions and regulations of the company. * And any other tasks as necessary to ensure that the Company Profits are maximised at all time
