We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Software Application Consultant (Document Management) to work with our current team, lead implementation projects from initial client requirements gathering to final implementation. This role will require the candidate to work on bespoke projects through design, configuration, implementation, and support of the applications remotely or on-site for our customers in UK, Ireland and Scandinavia.
Core Responsibilities:
- Customer Consultation: Conduct client requirements gathering to discuss and identify new or changes to existing document management system requirements. Analyse customer business processes and recommend solutions with the effort required. Produce technical documentation such as User requirements and Functional specification documents.
- Solution design and implementation: Design and configure Document Management solutions using current tools, ensuring alignment with client requirements. Plan and implement the software, including installation, migration and configuration to meet client requirements. Define and configure workflows, user interfaces, database tables, metadata, etc. to standardise document classification and management.
- Training and support: Create bespoke training materials and deliver workshops for end-users and Admins. Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients. Troubleshoot issues and advise clients on best practices for using the DMS.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 4 years+ real-world enterprise software implementation experience.
- Experience supporting users of enterprise software applications.
- Experience conducting requirements gathering and documentation.
- Knowledge of other development languages such as VB.Net, C#, etc.
- Experience within regulated industries (e.g., engineering, construction, nuclear, finance) is highly desirable.
- Understanding the commercial implications of consultancy activities and identifying opportunities for new work.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision and take the initiative.
- A team-oriented approach with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Experience with Cloud-hosted solutions (Azure or AWS).
