Pentagon Motor Group have an exciting new career opportunity available right now! We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and pro‑active individual to join the team in our busy St Helens dealership's Parts Department.

What will you be doing? As a Parts Consultant you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying and verifying for quality and description, parts stock and other goods from suppliers.
  • Receiving incoming Motor Vehicle Parts into the department and putting stock into the correct locations.
  • Ensuring stock is stored carefully, kept secure and in saleable condition.
  • Accurately identifying, locating and picking parts for Workshop staff and customers.
  • Ensuring every opportunity is taken to sell older and slow moving parts.
  • Seeking new ways to increase Parts and Workshop sales by identifying customer needs and incremental items to sell.

The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 08:30am - 17:00pm and 1 in 2 Saturdays 8:30 - 12:30.

Who are we looking for? Ideal candidates will have:

  • A genuine interest and passion for the Motor Trade.
  • An ability to build rapport and establish and maintain good working relationships.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Confidence with IT systems alongside call handling.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to their workload.
  • Endless drive and self motivation.
  • A team player mentality.

Previous experience working as a Parts Consultant or in an Aftersales department would be a distinct advantage for this role.
