Pentagon Motor Group has an exciting new career opportunity for a Business Manager to join their Oldham team. This position involves working with new, used, and Motability vehicles at a large main dealer.
Compensation
Up to £40,000 base salary, plus sales bonus and company vehicle.

What will you be doing?
As a seasoned motor‑industry professional, you will identify suitable finance and insurance options for customers and achieve agreed profitability targets. You will maintain a strong customer‑focus, ensuring excellent communication and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Build rapport with customers quickly and fairly.
- Monitor finance and insurance performance against budget and address shortfalls.
- Assist management in planning, forecasting trends, and revising dealership plans.
- Coach and develop team skills to achieve business objectives.
- Qualify customer needs to recommend appropriate insurance products.
- Log all activity to monitor performance, measure outcomes, and provide feedback to the Sales Manager and General Manager.
- Work 5 days per week on a sales rota, including weekends.
Qualifications
- Target driven experience in motor trade sales.
- Ability to organise, prioritise, and reprioritise workloads.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to tailor presentations to customer needs.
- Knowledge of operating processes, industry regulations and legislation.
- Leadership experience, motivating team across all workloads.
- Current knowledge of vehicle, consumer and trade legislation.
- Positive, energetic attitude toward work.
- Drive to achieve and exceed targets.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Agreement to Basic Disclosure under DBS procedures; employment offered subject to satisfactory report.
