What Will You Be Doing?
- Main responsibilities will include:
- To follow instructions with particular attention to the delivery details and to carry out such deliveries in the most cost effective way.
- To ensure all administrative systems required by the Company for deliveries are complied with and all documentation is completed.
- Deliver vehicles to customers within allocated time scales.
- To check all vehicles for paperwork, damage & correct specification.
- To ensure all paperwork is completed correctly and returned to the Delivery Co-ordinator.
- To take the lead in any customers' concerns at handover.
- To log duties on daily log sheets provided.
The working days for this role are 40 hrs per week 8.00am to 17.30pm.
Qualifications
- A desire to deliver an excellent level of Customer Service.
- A full valid UK driving licence which enables you to drive up to 4.5tonne vehicles.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A full, Manual, current UK driving license.
- Excellent organisational skills and communication, both written and verbal, with great attention to detail.
- An understanding of the Highway Code and other current traffic and motoring regulations.
- A friendly and polite manner.
- A positive can-do attitude and team player attitude.
- Flexibility.
