Derby Pentagon Motor Group are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and positive individual to join the Bodyshop team at their Derby Dealership in the role of a Bodyshop Estimator.

Role responsibilities

Main responsibilities of the role include:

  • Overseeing the day to day running of the Bodyshop.
  • Allocating work to the Bodyshop team of Panel, Paint and MET Technicians.
  • Implementing insurance KPIs, key to key and cycle time.
  • Assessing and managing the Bodyshop run rate and efficiency.
  • Liaising with other departments within the business e.g. Service.
  • Communicating with the Sales department in relation to prep work.
  • Working closely with the Parts department and updating the office on parts supply.
  • Booking sub-contractor work both on and off site.
  • Pre and post vehicle sweeps.
  • Quality control of repair stages and final QC.

The working hours for this role are: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 17:30pm.

Candidate requirements

Successful candidates will have:

  • Previous experience working in an Automotive Bodyshop environment.
  • Good knowledge of motor vehicles and safety requirements.
  • Excellent organisational skills and great attention to detail.
  • The ability to allocate work and monitor jobs to achieve their completion dates.
  • The ability to work well to deadlines and a proactive attitude in achieving targets.
  • Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
  • A strong team player mentality and the ability to motivate others.

Previous experience using Autoflex and Audatex would be an advantage for this role.
