We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is looking to begin a career within the Service department of our highly successful Sheffield dealership.

This is a fantastic opportunity if you are looking to pursue a career as a Vehicle Technician with a view to becoming a competent and fully trained Technician with an NVQ/City & Guilds Qualification.

Responsibilities
- Learn to service vehicles – carrying out checks and maintaining vehicles according to the manufacturers’ guidelines
- Repair and replace faulty parts and components
- Advise about required repairs to the service department and to customers
- Produce time estimates for repairs and maintenance
- Maintain repair and service records on the in‑house computer system for customers
- Detect and diagnose additional faults for further repairs
- Ensure all work is completed safely, complying with manufacturers’ and industry guidelines
Qualifications
- Genuine passion for the motor trade and motor vehicles
- Good listening skills and ability to follow instructions
- Enthusiastic, committed and confident
- Analytical and methodical thinking
- Highly motivated and self‑driven
- Not afraid to ask questions
- Excellent communicator, able to maintain positive relationships
- Great team‑player mentality
- Minimum GCSE grade C / 4 in English and Maths and preferably in a science‑based subject
