Oversee and manage the delivery of campaigns across all brands and areas of sales and aftersales.

Support the Marketing Operations team in the development of engaging creative assets across channels including offline, online and events.

Introduce innovative and vibrant ideas to the team, mentor team members on best practice.

Responsibility for management of OEM activity planners and implementation.

Measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of campaign activity, constantly learning and adapting the plans to improve performance and deliver against the overall strategies.

Responsible for managing and planning activity across the Marketing Operations team to ensure team are aligned and are working towards the same campaign objectives.

Reviewing trends, opportunities and challenges in the automotive retail industry and share solutions/recommendations.

Influencing key stakeholders and communicating marketing ideas, plans, campaigns to colleagues across the business.

Effectively managing agency relationships to agreed timescales and budgets to achieve maximum benefit for the business.

Identifying new opportunities for the business to help deliver on targets.

Manage the Motability programme from a Marketing Operations perspective.

Assist in Operational areas of the business, e.g. CSI, platform support, telephony etc.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for working with and to the requirements of our manufacturer partners.
  • Work with your team to support our retailers with local Marketing initiatives and build an understanding of the brands we represent.
  • Define and work to KPI's and analyse the ROI of campaigns, sharing feedback with the Marketing Department.
  • Have experience of managing campaigns from start to finish, and a very good knowledge of digital media (emails, SMS, social etc).
  • Be proficient in the understanding and use of social media channels, ensure up to date knowledge of channel trends.
  • Be highly organised and logical in your approach with a focus on delivering projects on time and budget.
  • Ensuring all campaign data complies with legal regulations and have good knowledge and understanding of GDPR requirements and Financial Advertising rules.
  • Clear understanding and knowledge of CRM customer journeys, ideally within an automotive environment.
  • Experience in databases, data segmentation techniques from a campaign perspective.
  • Working closely with the Group Support functions to ensure the group plan is delivered.
  • Be able to use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, systems and other such tools.
  • Budget management experience essential.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience:

  • Ideally educated to a graduate level with a preference for recognised Marketing qualifications.
  • A minimum of 4-5 years Marketing related experience is desired, ideally at Manager level.
  • Demonstrable experience of working in Marketing/ Digital disciplines.
  • Experience of Marketing automation tools is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Excellent analytical skills that support process development and scope Marketing ROI.
  • Passion for both Marketing and the automotive industry, including knowledge of how the automotive industry works.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and stay focused under pressure.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate a professional, cordial and positive attitude.
  • High standard of copywriting skills will be desirable.
  • Ability to build strong interdepartmental relationships.
