Pentagon Motor Group have an exciting new opportunity available for an experienced Motor Trade Sales professional to join our Pentagon Loughborough dealership in the role of Sales Manager, with a key focus on our brand-new Chery franchise. Chery is one of the fastest-growing automotive brands in the UK, and this is a hugely exciting time to be joining the journey. With significant investment, cutting-edge technology and an ambitious growth strategy, Chery represents the future of mobility.

This brand-new position has been created specifically to drive the success of Chery at our Loughborough site, making this a rare and career-defining opportunity for the right individual. We are looking for someone with real energy, enthusiasm and self-drive – a Sales Manager who is excited by the opportunity to grow a new brand, build momentum and help establish Chery as a major force within the local market.

You will work closely with our Loughborough General Manager, who is an exceptional coach and mentor, and you will be fully immersed in both Pentagon’s in-house training and Chery’s comprehensive manufacturer training programme. With everything Chery has to offer – from outstanding new products to innovative technology and a strong future pipeline – this role represents a fantastic opportunity to grow alongside an exciting brand from the ground up.

In return, we offer full support, in-house Sales Management training, and full Chery manufacturer training, ensuring you are fully accredited and equipped to succeed with this exciting and rapidly expanding brand.

  • Good understanding of market conditions, stock management and sales forecasting
  • Up-to-date knowledge of vehicle legislation, consumer legislation and trade practices

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a proven track record in Sales Management within the Motor Trade
  • Demonstrate compliance with operating processes, industry regulations and legislation
  • Motivate and inspire the team, regardless of workload or sales volume
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service standards
  • Hold a full, UK driving licence

The working hours for this role are 45 hours per week, as per the sales rota, including weekends on a rotational basis.

The successful applicant must agree to a Basic Disclosure under the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) procedures. Employment will be offered subject to a satisfactory Disclosure report.
