Overview
Pentagon Motor Group have an amazing new career opportunity available for a Business Manager to join their Lincoln team.
This position involves working with New, Used and Motability vehicles within a large main dealer.
Responsibilities
- Identify appropriate funding and insurance options for customers based on individual suitability and requirements, and meet agreed profitability targets.
- Demonstrate a strong focus on customer care and satisfaction to meet and exceed sales targets; communicate in a firm, fair, assertive and professional manner.
- Build rapport with customers quickly and treat customers fairly.
- Monitor finance and insurance performance against budget; identify and address shortfalls.
- Assist management in planning, forecasting trends, and revising plans for the dealership on an ongoing basis.
- Work with management to coach and develop the skills of the team to achieve business objectives.
- Qualify customer demands and needs to recommend the most appropriate insurance products.
- Log all activity to monitor performance, measure outcomes, and provide regular feedback to the Sales Manager and General Manager.
- The working hours are 5 days per week on a sales rota including weekends.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience in target-driven motor trade sales.
- Ability to organise, prioritise and reprioritise workloads; good negotiation skills.
- Ability to tailor presentations to individual customer needs.
- Demonstrate compliance with operating processes as well as industry regulations and legislation.
- Lead by example and motivate the team, maintaining high standards irrespective of workload volume.
- Up-to-date knowledge of vehicle and consumer legislation and trade practices; practical knowledge of modern business methods and controls.
- Positive and energetic attitude; hunger to achieve and exceed targets.
- Hold a full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to undergo a Basic Disclosure (DBS); employment subject to satisfactory DBS report.
