The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Supporting the Marketing team in the delivery of campaigns across all brands and areas of sales and aftersales.
  • Supporting the Marketing Manager in the development of engaging creative assets across channels including offline, online and events.
  • Introducing innovative and vibrant ideas to the team and mentoring team members on best practice.
  • Having responsibility for development and completion of OEM activity planners.
  • Measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of campaign activity, constantly learning and adapting the plans to improve performance and deliver against the overall strategies.
  • Be responsible for co-ordinating activity across the Marketing Operations team to ensure team are aligned and are working towards the same campaign objectives.
  • Reviewing trends, opportunities and challenges in the automotive retail industry and share solutions/recommendations.
  • Influencing key stakeholders and communicating marketing ideas, plans, campaigns to colleagues across the business.
  • Effectively managing agency relationships to agreed timescales and budgets to achieve maximum benefit for the business.
  • Supporting the wider Marketing team with proof reading and checking of assets as required.
  • Being a pro-active team member with a positive can-do attitude.

The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 08:30am – 17:00pm.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Ideally be educated to a graduate level with a preference for recognised Marketing qualifications.
  • Possess a minimum of 3 years Marketing related experience.
  • Demonstrate experience of working in Marketing/ Digital disciplines.
  • Show excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Have good analytical skills that support process development and marketing ROI.
  • Possess a passion for both Marketing and the automotive industry, including knowledge of how the automotive industry works.
  • Have an ability to reassess priorities and stay focused under pressure.
  • Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate a professional, cordial and positive attitude.
  • Have a willingness to learn.

Experience of Marketing Automation tools and a high standard of copywriting skills would be advantageous for this role.
