This is a contract-based hybrid role as an Occupational Therapist, located in the Greater Liverpool Area with the flexibility to work from home part-time. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing therapeutic interventions to support individuals in achieving their personal goals and enhancing their daily living skills.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, caregivers, and family members to develop customized care plans.
- Providing guidance and education on rehabilitation techniques.
- Working with a diverse client base, including pediatric cases, to help them overcome challenges and optimize their independence.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Occupational Therapy practices and a solid understanding of rehabilitation techniques.
- Knowledge in Medicine related to therapy and patient care.
- Experience working with Pediatrics or in a pediatric care setting.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to adapt to a hybrid working environment.
- Relevant certifications and qualifications in Occupational Therapy.
- Previous experience with special needs populations is a plus.
- Empathy, patience, and a commitment to promoting client independence and well-being.
