This is a contract-based hybrid role as an Occupational Therapist, located in the Greater Liverpool Area with the flexibility to work from home part-time. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing therapeutic interventions to support individuals in achieving their personal goals and enhancing their daily living skills. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, caregivers, and family members to develop customized care plans, as well as providing guidance and education on rehabilitation techniques. The role involves working with a diverse client base, including pediatric cases, to help them overcome challenges and optimize their independence.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Occupational Therapy practices and a solid understanding of rehabilitation techniques
- Knowledge in Medicine related to therapy and patient care
- Experience working with Pediatrics or in a pediatric care setting
- Strong Communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to adapt to a hybrid working environment
- Relevant certifications and qualifications in Occupational Therapy
- Previous experience with special needs populations is a plus
- Empathy, patience, and a commitment to promoting client independence and well-being
