Deputy Manager in Orpington

Pentacare looking for deputy manager to oversee the operations in our West Kent and Orpington branches .

Deputy Managers, Acting Managers, Senior Staff with NVQ Level 3 with previous experience in Home Care may apply

This is an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Manager to primarily work from the Orpington branch, ensuring growth and development through the delivery of outstanding quality care while maintaining an efficient operation.

This is a fast paced, busy role that requires strong organisational and communication skills and experience in the care industry is essential.

Working hours are Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm with occasional on-call duties required.

Salary is £29000-£36,000 depending on experience. Additional pay for on-call duties.

Role responsibilities

Supporting the Registered Manager in overseeing the daily operations of our West Kent (Sevenoaks) branch.

Ensuring that high- quality, person-cantered care is delivered to clients in their own homes.

Supervising care staff, managing schedules, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in care delivery.

A strong focus on the wellbeing and safety of service users, ensuring that care plans are effectively implemented and regularly reviewed

To liaise with service users/relatives and social workers

Preparation of management reports

Role requirements

NVQ Level 3 or above in Health and Social Care

Experience in care, preferably as a deputy manager, care-coordinator or supervisor.

Full UK driving licence

Effective communication at all levels
