Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Hours: Monday - Thursday: 7:30am to 5:00pm, with a 30-minute lunch break. Friday: 7:30am to 12:30pm

We are looking for a Production Leader to take full ownership of day-to-day production operations at Penta Precision. This is a leadership opportunity with real long-term potential. What you will be doing:

  • Lead and manage daily shopfloor operations across multiple departments
  • Own, plan, and deliver the production schedule with accuracy and efficiency
  • Ensure output and quality targets are consistently achieved
  • Foster a high-performing, motivated team environment
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments and senior leadership
  • Champion continuous improvement in processes, performance, and team dynamics
  • Build trust and lead with empathy to support individual and team development

What we are looking for in you:

We are looking for someone who gets it, wants it, and has the capacity to lead. Someone with a solid grounding in CNC machining and manufacturing who thrives in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment. You will be a strong fit if you can demonstrate:

  • Extensive experience in machining or manufacturing, ideally with time on the tools
  • Proven success managing production teams and planning complex shopfloor schedules
  • A naturally organised and driven approach, with strong initiative and follow-through
  • The ability to build trust, listen well, and motivate others to achieve their best
  • Curiosity and a habit of asking thoughtful questions to understand and improve
  • Emotional intelligence, humility, and a mindset focused on the greater good of the team
  • Ownership mentality, you want to take responsibility, make things better, and grow
  • Confident with computers and production systems (SFDC or equivalent experience is a plus)
  • Ideally, exposure to batch work, subcontract coordination, and precision machining operations

This isn’t a role for someone who just wants to manage from a distance. We are looking for someone with the energy, empathy, and attention to detail to make things happen and bring people with them.
