Base pay range
Estimator & Account Manager – CNC MACHINING
Location: Fareham, Hampshire
Salary: ÂŁ37,000 to ÂŁ60,000 dependant on experience
Job Type: Full time, Permanent
Hours of Work: Monday – Thursday: 7:30am to 5.00pm, 30-minute lunch break, Friday: 7:30am to 12:30pm

Responsibilities and duties of an Estimation & Account Manager at Penta:
Are you a strong team player with excellent attention to detail? Do you thrive on building strong working relationships to ensure everyone wins? Are you a Machinist looking for the next right step in your career? Penta is seeking a CNC Estimator & Account Manager to be an integral part of our progressive Sales & Marketing Team. You will be:
- Communicating with customers and preparing accurate quotations.
- Onboarding and developing close working relationships to deliver customers’ needs, so both the customer and the Penta team win.
- Hold technical conversations to support design for manufacture and ensure we deliver exceptional quality, every time.
- In time you will be responsible for managing 50% of the company\’s order book
- You will be contributing to continuously improving how the team operates to maximise flow and throughput
What we\’re looking for from our Estimator & Account Manager:
- A strong understanding of the CNC machining process is a must as you will be preparing and managing accurate quotes.
- The ability to be able to communicate face to face, via phone and email as you will be continually communicating with both customers and team members.
- The ability to review and hold technical, engineering specifications discussions.
- The ability to offer machining design advice and take customers on a journey to improve production and quality outcomes.
