Penta Consulting are a technology service provider and leading outsourced partner helping to deliver professional and managed solutions across EMEA. We’re looking for a Senior ACI Network Engineer who can take ownership of our data centre networking strategy and help us build a future‑proof, automated, and resilient infrastructure. This is a Contract opportunity running until the end of October, with a strong possibility of extension.
What you’ll be doing:
- Designing, deploying, and maintaining Cisco ACI fabrics across multiple data centres
- Translating business requirements into scalable network architectures
- Troubleshooting complex L2/L3 issues in high‑availability environments
- Implementing automation frameworks (Python, Ansible, Terraform) to streamline operations
- Collaborating with cloud, security, and platform teams to ensure seamless integration
What you bring:
- Deep hands‑on experience with Cisco ACI, APIC, tenants, contracts, policies, and multi‑pod/multi‑site
- Strong understanding of VXLAN, BGP, OSPF, EVPN, and modern data centre networking
- Experience with automation and Infrastructure‑as‑Code
- A proactive mindset — someone who enjoys solving problems before they become problems
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
