The Procurement Compliance Lead is responsible for ensuring that all suppliers, vendors, and partners meet commercial, legal, regulatory and operational compliance standards across the Group. The role oversees supplier governance, vendor performance, partner network expansion, operational risk management and regulatory compliance, while supporting the Legal, Contracts, Sales, and Finance teams to ensure Penta’s operational standards are upheld across all jurisdictions.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Procurement Governance & Supplier Compliance: Liaise with umbrella companies, vendor partners, suppliers and third-party service providers to resolve documentation gaps and ensure compliance. Perform regular supplier/vendor/partner performance reviews and risk assessments. Manage supplier and vendor deliverables, SLAs, and KPIs ensuring contract terms, service levels and compliance requirements are met. Maintain supplier approval processes, tiering structures and audit trails across all entities. Ensure all supplier documentation is valid, up to date, and aligned with internal regulatory requirements (KYC’s, credit checks, company certificates, licenses).
- Contractual & Partner Network Support: Provide contractual support, including sharing agreements, templates and compliance documentation with internal teams. Maintain and expand Penta’s domestic and international partner network, identifying new partners and opportunities to enhance service capability. Ensure all special provisions in partner or supplier contracts are verified, compliant, and escalated where risk is identified. Work closely with Legal and Contracts teams to ensure all agreements reflect operational and compliance expectations.
- Operational Compliance & Risk Mitigation: Identify external and internal supplier operational risks across the organization and develop mitigation strategies. Implement controls that align with internal policies, external regulations, and operational best practices. Investigate and resolve operational issues, inefficiencies or compliance breaches. Monitor changes in industry standards and update internal programs accordingly. Stay abreast of emerging operational and compliance trends to ensure proactive risk management.
- Internal Training & Cross Functional Collaboration: Provide guidance and training to employees on procurement, operational and compliance best practices. Coordinate with internal departments (Sales, Legal, Commercial, Operations, Care) to drive operational excellence and efficiency. Work with external stakeholders when implementing operational improvements or compliance-driven initiatives.
- Program & Process Development: Develop, document and improve procurement compliance processes, policies and operational procedures. Align Penta’s offerings with evolving compliance and operational requirements. Support expansion of Penta’s service solutions by ensuring operational feasibility and compliance alignment.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience in procurement governance, supplier compliance or vendor management.
- Experience working within a commercial, operational or compliance environment (professional services or staffing industry preferred).
- Strong understanding of due diligence, supplier onboarding, and vendor risk management practices.
- Knowledge of regulatory and operational compliance standards.
- Skilled in relationship management across diverse suppliers, partners and internal teams.
- Proficient with CRM systems, document management, reporting tools and Microsoft Office suite.
