We are seeking a highly skilled Dell ECS Engineer to join our infrastructure team. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in object storage platforms and cloud-native architectures, who is passionate about managing large-scale, unstructured data environments.

Summary

  • Design, implement, and manage Dell ECS (Elastic Cloud Storage) solutions
  • Administer and maintain object storage environments (S3-compatible)
  • Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability
  • Perform upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management of ECS clusters
  • Troubleshoot storage, network, and access issues
  • Work with application and DevOps teams to integrate ECS with workloads
  • Implement data protection, replication, and disaster recovery strategies
  • Ensure security best practices (IAM, encryption, access controls)
  • Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams

Required Skills Experience

  • Proven experience with Dell ECS or similar object storage platforms
  • Strong understanding of: - Object storage concepts (S3, REST APIs) Distributed systems and storage architectures
  • Experience with Linux systems and networking fundamentals
  • Knowledge of data protection and replication methods
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools and performance tuning
  • Experience supporting large-scale storage environments
