JOB PURPOSE
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller you will be involved in the production of accurate and reliable monthly financial information for the monitoring of business performance, ensuring that processes are fit for purpose and operate efficiently and that financial controls are appropriate and operate effectively for the group.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managed Services – Monthly GP review:
- Accruals & deferred income
- Review costs by Supplier
- Run monthly overhead report
- Identify missing items and amounts to be prepaid/accrued
- Posting cash book
- Posting sales invoices
- Posting accruals and prepayments
KEY SKILLS:
- IT literate including strong Microsoft Excel skills as a minimum
- Good organisational skills
- Excellent understanding of financial accounting and business processes
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and an ability to interact with all levels of the organisation
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:
- As the ideal candidate, you will be part qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) and/or studying towards ACCA/CIMA qualification
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working within an accounting environment
- Experience of management accounting
- Experience of dealing with currency transactions and general ledgers
- Experience of using multi company, multi-currency financial accounting systems – e.g. Dynamics, Oracle
