Qualifications
- Relevant qualifications: NEBOSH, IOSH, Chartered IOSH or on the pathway to chartered IOSH
- Qualified in management system auditing – would be beneficial
- UK Higher National Diploma level in a related field to Occupational Health and Safety, Quality Management
- UK driving licence
Knowledge / Experience (Skills)
- Knowledge of internal QHSE management systems
- At least 2 years’ experience in managing/advising on occupational health and safety
- Experience of environmental aspects and impacts assessment
- Experience of energy management data collection
- Effective communication skills – able to communicate in English
- Ability to handle conflict and resolve amicably
- Excellent report writing skills
Main Purpose of Role
The QHSE Advisor provides a support role to the Europe region, completing all tasks required to fulfil our legislative duties regarding occupational health & safety and environment as well as maintaining our quality management system. The role also requires regular reporting within the business via the Group QHSE Director.
Responsibilities
- Delivery of the group QHSE management system including regional alignment with corporate requirements, initiatives & objectives, and improvement activities.
- Support the Asset Management, Asset Integrity and Engineering service lines, providing QHSE input as required.
- Manage QHSE legislative requirements for all offices within the Europe region.
- Regional responsibility for compliance with ISO 45001, 14001, 9001 and 50001 requirements.
- Point of contact for external audits (including client audits, accreditation audits and other 3rd‑party audits)
- Internal reporting to ensure QHSE statistics are monitored.
- Point of contact for the actions raised within the Europe region on the performance improvement reporting system and HSE tracking system.
- Supporting the global QHSE team – including delivery of objectives, knowledge sharing, statistical reporting.

- Collaboration with others to close out HSE issues identified

- Ensuring compliance with all relevant quality standards/procedures in your area. This includes reporting any deviations from these standards/procedures, completing corrective actions and making recommendations to prevent similar deviations in the future.
