Qualifications
- A degree level qualification in relevant engineering discipline.

Main Purpose Of Role
Penspen are seeking a dynamic and motivated Project Manager to support their growing EPM team in the UK. The Project Manager will have extensive experience in delivering oil & gas processing and pipeline engineering projects in a Consultancy or Design House Environment. Responsible for overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of EPM projects to meet requirements of projects, ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.
Responsibilities
- Identify and communicate objectives to project team in accordance with contract terms, scope of work and company policies.
- Initiates projects in line with corporate project management guidelines, including production and maintenance of Project Execution Plan, to define comprehensive project requirements.
- Primary point of contact with clients for all commercial and contractual matters.
- Develop and maintain productive working relationship and manage key stakeholder expectations.
- Responsible for project performance including project expenditure, revenue forecasts and cash flow targets within project schedule.
- Defining resource requirements of project in liaison with engineering manager.
- Work with project engineering manager to balance workload through scheduling, reassignment of work, review of project focus and issue resolution which inhibit project success.
- Monitor progress of project scope and accurately report progress to key stakeholders.
- Escalate any risks and issues.
- Ensure technical consistency and quality is achieved throughout the project.
- Assess variances from project scope, plans, budgets and schedules.
- Develop and implement changes, as necessary, to meet project scope within time, cost, and quality objectives.
- Able to lead the engineering proposal development including development of execution plans, organisational and subcontractor requirements, project schedules and CTRs.
- Oversee all Health, Safety, Environmental and Security requirements across Projects.
- Ensure work is carried out in accordance with the Company Quality Policy and procedures.
- Identify potential areas for improvement in current methodologies.
