To ensure the satisfactory quality of design drawings for construction and implementing any necessary action to maintain the standard of work and performance. Be responsible for the content and quality of all work they undertake on each project.
Responsibilities
- Work individually or in a group.
- Participate in any other discipline business as required.
- Work in a methodical and organised manner.
- Ensure that the corporate procedures and standards are understood.
- Ensure that the project scope of work, design basis, philosophies, standards and procedures including QA are known, understood and implemented by the discipline personnel assigned to the project.
- Review project scope of work, number of deliverables, drawing content and manhour estimate. Identify any changes which may be necessary.
- Direct and monitor the execution of work with regard to content and quality of all documentation within the disciplines scope of work.
- Monitor progress and prepare reports.
- Participate in all discipline activities including preparation and checking of documents, specifications, procedures, standards, data sheets etc.
- Co-ordinate with Engineers.
- Approve and check discipline drawings.
- Liaise with other disciplines.
- Experience in site preparation, drainage, roads, concrete and steelwork.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in design discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in oil/gas industry.
