Main Purpose of Role:
To register and issue day-to-day incoming and outgoing project related documentation and ensure project deliverables are issued in a controlled, accurate and timely manner. Understand document control process and governance. Responsible for storage, retrieval and issue of project documents to internal and external customers.
Knowledge / Experience (Skills):
Qualified at GCSE or Advanced level Mathematics and English.
Excellent written and verbal Communication skills.
Experience within project-based engineering environment.
Computer literacy with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Access and Adobe software. Experience with Wrench software an advantage.
Good written and verbal communications skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure – working to deadlines and be able to prioritise workload.
Team player and flexible approach to work.
Able to work independently and be proactive.
Good attention to detail.
Discretion and confidentiality at all times.
Responsibilities:
Enter document control information accurately on system and produce reports from the database, as required.
Practical experience of Adobe Acrobat Professional to assemble documentation.
Issue project related information and documentation in a timely manner and ensure they reflect up to date information regarding project deliverables and correspondence.
Store & file received documentation from clients, vendors, etc. and supply them to project team.
Ensure Penspen documentation is correctly formatted and in line with company procedures.
Keep records of all revisions and comments received/issued on documentation.
Maintain a complete QA-auditable database record of the movements of deliverables and related correspondence.
Maintain electronic records of all deliverables and related correspondence.
Discretion and confidentiality at all times.
