Penspen are looking for two Project Engineers. The primary location is Woking, Surrey, but you may be required to work in Al Khafji, KSA.

The Project Engineers may operate within the Core Engineering Team or PMT project team environment. They may have engineer grade personnel under their responsibility and will be tasked with their control and management and the delegation of activities to such support personnel. They may work under the supervision of a Lead Engineer in which case their responsibilities will be as delegated. The Project Engineers may be in charge of all Project Engineering tasks between them.

Knowledge / Experience (Skills):

  • At least 14 years of experience as a Project Engineer, with 10 years within the field of Engineering for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects.
  • PMC experience at a similar role for at least several years is preferable.
  • Knowledge of Saudi Aramco Desktop Standard and procedures/practices is beneficial.
  • Computer literate with all MS Packages, particularly Word and Excel proficient.
  • Previous exposure to construction and commissioning phases is beneficial but not mandatory.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering discipline or Diploma in Engineering in the appropriate field.

Key Relationships:

PMS Interface: The Project Engineers will, if serving in the Core Technical team, report to the FEED/Technical Leader via the Lead Engineer, or direct if appropriate. For service within the PMT Teams, the Project Engineers will report to the Project Head/Senior Project Engineer via the Lead Engineers or direct if appropriate. The Project Engineers will manage the output of engineer grade personnel working under their authority and will liaise with other discipline personnel in the Technical Core Team or PMT teams as appropriate to their area of service.

Client Interface: Client reporting interface shall be via the FEED/Technical Leader for Technical Core Team service, or via the Project Head/Senior Project Engineer for PMT service.
