Penspen www. penspen. com are seeking a team of flexible Operations Technician to join their multi skilled team located in the Slough region.

Are you a hands-on technician who enjoys working outside (all weathers) as part of a team and playing a key role in the day-to-day running of a busy terminal, then this could be the job for you.

What will you be doing?

We are looking for a Technician to perform safe and efficient offloading duties as part of the operations team.

This will include product sampling, testing and monitoring pump operations. You will also undertake operational maintenance and inspection duties for the facilities.

The role will primarily provide the operating requirements for the Terminal.

The role will provide the safe operational duties within Penspen's scope of activity.

Previous experience with working outside in a safety critical environment is essential. Full training will be provided to all new starters.

The site operates 24/7, 365 days a year, and the role will include shift work, including days and nights.

What do we need from you?

  • Operational “hands-on” background and have general expertise in mechanical equipment and working methods would be beneficial.
  • Ability to work under pressure and provide a response to emergency situations, including dealing with authorities and statutory bodies, under the instruction of Colnbrook line management.
  • Full driving license.
  • Basic PC skills knowledge.

• Knowledge of fuel handling desired!

  • Awareness of Health and Safety in an industrial environment, knowledge of statutory legislation on QHSE matters and working understanding of risk assessments and safe systems of work.
