Immediate Opportunities for full-time Class A Yard Drivers. Earn up to $90,000 annually. Local, home daily. Driver referral bonus program up to $5,000 per referral.
You will drive late-model Penske Truck Leasing trucks with best-in-class specs designed for comfort, equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras for safety.
What you will do:
- Move trailers in and out of dock as directed by management.
- Couple and uncouple trailers.
- Chock trailers as they are spotted for loading and unloading and pulling from doors.
- Deliver palletized groceries to local stores as needed.
Schedule: Sunday through Thursday. PM start time.

Qualifications:
- Valid Class A CDL required.
- Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence.
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excused interstate DOT medical card required.
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years in the past 5 years.
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
- Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards, and guidelines.
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
- In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency.
- Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (past employment, education, criminal history) and drug screening required.
- Position regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive; ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.
- Associates must accept responsibility for their own safety and others.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to see and hear.
- Vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus.
- Will need to move frequently, stand, walk, sit; use hands to touch, handle, feel, reach; lift and/or move up to 50 lbs/23 kg and occasionally up to 100 lbs/45 kg.
- Must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle and rear cargo area.
