As a Strategic Project Manager, you will be responsible for reporting and overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of the corporate strategy and reporting on progress. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure that the strategic objectives are delivered. Your planning, negotiation and project delivery skills will be crucial in successfully delivering the strategy
Key Responsibilities
- Reporting progress against the strategy milestones, key deliverables and organisational KPIs
- Make recommendations on prioritisation should there be competing resource requirements
- Working closely with owners of strategic objective workstreams and take responsibility for driving the delivery and meeting deadlines including, helping to develop mitigation and action plans
- Develop and manage comprehensive strategy delivery project plans, including scope, timelines, critical path, resources and budgets, providing regular updates to executive leadership team and Board
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure appropriate prioritisation, alignment and effective communication throughout the strategy delivery
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimise impact
- Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders
- Facilitate meetings, workshops and presentations to drive collaboration and decision making
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies and industry standards
- Foster a positive team environment promoting motivation and accountability
Other Information
We are based at offices in London. Our current discretionary arrangements are hybrid working with an expectation that staff attend the office at least 20% of the time, and attend other essential meetings and functions as required by their roles. The expectation is this role would be in the office one day per week to liaise with Executive Leadership. The role is a part-time (50% FTE).
A competitive salary and package which includes:
- Salary range – up to £37,500 per annum £75,000 (FTE) depending on experience
- Discretionary bonus based on performance
- Pension of 20% (15% employer/5% employee) or 10% (10% employer/0% employee)
