This role provides trusted, high-level support to the Executive Director of Membership and Commercial Services (MCS), ensuring effective leadership and smooth delivery of priorities. Acting as a key partner, the postholder will manage complex schedules, streamline communication and anticipate needs, while confidently adapting to changing demands. Beyond core coordination, they will contribute to projects and take ownership of ad hoc work, helping to drive strategic objectives within a collaborative, values-led environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a central point of coordination, ensuring smooth meeting rhythms, information flow and administrative processes for the new Group.
  • Organise and manage meetings and events, including team away days, internal and external meetings, room bookings and logistics.
  • Prepare and distribute agendas and papers for Group and MCS Leadership meetings; attend weekly leadership meetings and capture accurate, timely minutes.
  • Arrange travel (UK only) and manage related logistics.
  • Support financial administration, including processing expenses and managing the MCS team budget with accuracy and transparency.
  • Maintain stakeholder records and key contact details on the database.
  • Provide flexible support across projects and ad hoc work, adapting to changing priorities and contributing to wider team objectives.
  • Champion effective ways of working, anticipating needs and helping the Executive Director deliver strategic goals within a collaborative, values-led environment.

We are based at offices in London. Someone in this role would be expected to be in the office one day a week, and attend other essential meetings and functions as required by their roles.
