Independent Financial Adviser (Generalist Role – Remote)

Salary: £50,000 + bonus

Location: Remote (UK) | Occasional office attendance for training/meetings

About the Role

MyWealthHelp is seeking a general Independent Financial Adviser to provide broad, holistic financial advice across investments, pensions, protection, and long-term financial planning.

This does not involve defined benefit pension transfer work and is ideal for an adviser who enjoys varied, full-spectrum client advice. Supported by the Chartered status and regulatory strength of Pensionhelp, you’ll work with a diverse client base, helping individuals plan, invest, and secure their financial futures.

This is a remote role suited to a motivated adviser who values independence, professionalism, and strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver holistic, independent financial advice across a broad range of areas
• Analyse clients’ financial positions and create tailored recommendations
• Provide ongoing review and suitability assessments
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
• Work independently while contributing to a collaborative advisory team

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience providing general independent financial advice
• Strong technical understanding of investments, pensions, protection, and broader planning strategies
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Ability to assess financial data and produce clear, compliant recommendations
• Minimum Level 4 qualification in financial advice
• e.g., CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (DipPFS), LIBF DipFA, or CISI IAD
• Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely
