Junior Investment Operations Analyst Location: Dual office location – Croydon or Cannon Street (minimum 3 days office-based – Croydon is our Head Office where the Investment Operations team are based) Salary: £40,000 to £42,000 per annum plus Civil Service Pension Tenure: Permanent Position type: Full Time At the Pension Protection Fund (PPF), we provide security in retirement for our members and millions of people throughout the UK who belong to defined benefit (DB) pension schemes. Through the PPF and Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS), we compensate members for their pensions after the employer funding their pension becomes insolvent. In total, we look after over 400,000 members across the PPF and FAS. With over £30 billion in assets under management, our investments support long-term economic growth across the UK. Our award-winning team of around 450 professionals has earned the IPE UK Pension Fund of the Year title three times in seven years. We work closely with government and industry partners to improve outcomes for scheme members, employers, and the broader pension system—playing a vital role in strengthening retirement security nationwide. We’re looking for a Junior Investment Operations Analyst to join our Investment Operations team to contribute to all Trade Support and Data aspects of the Investment process of the PPF. Responsibilities will include the maintenance of trading records and other first line support duties, using BlackRock, Aladdin. Additionally, applicants will support trade processes for internal and external trades, data integrity checking including investigating any differences and monitoring of daily inbox flows to ensure routine checklists are complete. We’re looking for an individual with experience working within an investment environment and exposure to a range of investment products, such as fixed income, equities and derivatives. You’ll have experience in delivering high‑quality customer service, including supporting the resolution of queries, issues and change requests, with a consistent focus on accuracy and attention to detail. We would welcome applications from candidates with advanced data management and numeracy skills, alongside the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders, including third‑party providers.
